That usage is the regional U.K. dialect where Twillin and a few others on this site are from. I believe it’s northern. I’m American myself, so others would have to fill us in on the specifics. Wherever they’re from, it’s perfectly acceptable. There are dozens of English dialects around the world with different vocabulary
and usage norms.
