Thanks for being so open with us and for posting a lot of fascinating detail - very enjoyable too! It's great that your sexuality and your relationship with Miles have been completely accepted apart from your 2nd-year encounter with a homophobic housemate.
I was excited by your description of Miles's first day at your high school. You say "his physique was incredible. If I remember it right, he was wearing a hot sleeveless compression shirt or something like that to class, and some running tights - apparently he ran to the school for his morning run and forgot to bring his change of clothes because he was so nervous. But boy did he look hot like that since the tights showed his "stuff" very prominently." So he had to go from "nervous" to making the best of spending the whole day in revealing sportswear, showing off his body whether he'd wanted to or not - but it seems his body was already well worth showing off.
Where I am, in north-west England, wearers of running tights usually wear loose shorts over them, hiding their bulges. I think this looks silly.
Several years ago I developed a habit of wearing running tights with a clingy sleeveless top (actually an acrylic sweater), both plain black, as my swimwear for lessons in a local indoor pool. I'd started doing this when the pool heating was briefly faulty so the water was several degrees too cool, giving me cramp in my leg muscles - my instructor suggested a 3mm wetsuit, then "ankle-length trunks with a sweatshirt", so I improvised, finding that running tights were good but a sweatshirt's sleeves tended to twist - a sleeveless top worked better. The tights stopped me getting cramp in my legs, and the tank top felt good in water too. My instructor approved of my "modest" swimsuit. But the first time I entered the water dressed this way I had a sudden hard-on which lasted for the whole session and meant I couldn't try swimming on my back! In the changing cubicle afterwards I could at last deal with it (inside my tights) before changing. Once I was more accustomed to wearing running tights I stopped having unwanted erections in them, although wanted ones still work. Normally my top partially hides my bulges, and tights in good condition tend to squash their contents slightly and hold things in place, so I don't look indecent - even so I've only worn this outfit inside a sports venue where people are used to seeing rather more of each others' bodies than is usual in public.
Regarding your concern about being identifiable: I think you were right to avoid identifying your university. Most of us are careful not to reveal our exact locations - often we'll describe the nature of a location near our home but not say exactly where we live beyond maybe naming the nearest city - and we mostly identify ourselves just by first names or nicknames, doing the same but often changing the names when mentioning other people in our posts. Much of this caution is probably unnecessary for most of us as we won't "get in the news" even if we're "found out" by bosses, lecturers, family or whoever, we just like to avoid the risk of embarrassment! I have no way of knowing whether you used any real names, but don't panic if you did, few other people will know who they are.
