Quite agree. I am a relatively new "poster" on here but have read others' stories for some time and feel like I know the community members to a degree.
I'm lucky in that I have my parents and partner, Tony, with me and my three brothers are all back in the UK together and at the end of a phone line or available on Skype. My younger brother Eddie has taken on the responsibility of Christmas lunch for him, his twin Charlie and older bro Sam as well as Diane, Sam's live-in g/f, who's family are in Australia so not exactly down the road. Having said all that, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for those who are alone this Christmas (and maybe many before as well) so maybe we should all share a thought for them at this time of year in particular.
So Happy Christmas to all, think about the good wet times ahead with family and/or friends and let's all hope that 2021 proves to be a better year than this last one. Stay safe everyone and give a thought to all those who didn't make it to Christmas because of this ghastly virus.
